Short definition of Section (Section)
Part of a record (i.e., profile or time series) selected for analysis, e.g., to obtain a profile or time series of [math]\displaystyle{ \varepsilon }[/math] estimates.

This is the common definition for Section, but other definitions maybe discussed within the wiki.
