* I'd remove the word equilibrium range, this is a bit confusing for some users. I don't consider the viscous subrange to be in equilibrium, while I often use the work energy-containing range for the lowest frequency.  I'd just label the 3x subranges, and we can amend the description for the theory of the inertial subrange

Suggestions for figure

  • Consider removing the word equilibrium range, this is a bit confusing for some users.
