== Quality Control of Dissipation Estimates ==

1. Reject ensembles where the slope is negative (i.e. ε_i<0)
2. Reject ensemble where Ni values are unreasonable (I.e. N_{Subscript text}i<0).
3. Estimate the uncertainty in ε_i as the 95% confidence interval on the slope. Reject values that are too large (e.g. delta ε_i / ε_i >0.6).
4. Average the ε_i estimates from the diverging beams (if applicable) to determine ε.
5. Check if distribution of ε is lognormal
