The bias induced by the Goodman [1] vibration-coherent noise removal algorithm is corrected by dividing the spectrum by where is the number of signals that are used to remove coherent noise in the shear-probe spectrum and is the number of fft-segments that are used to estimate the shear spectrum [2].
