Suggestions

  • I think the environmental conditions, i.e. the scales of turbulence and their time/length scales are important. The epsilon, and the inertial subrange dictate how big your r can be, and also the sampling rate/duration of bursts. CynthiaBluteau (talk) 01:15, 11 November 2021 (CET)
  • I agree with Cynthia. I'm transferring Brian's comments here for now, we can build out those pages between now and Warnemunde Yuengdjern (talk) 14:54, 15 November 2021 (CET)
  • To do list for Ilker - from Brian: SUGGEST REMOVING BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING PAGES
  1. ADCP Hardware
  2. ADCP Environment

  • Other Comments:
  1. (JMM) IS THERE A TYPICAL PINGS PER ENSEMBLE WE CAN RECOMMEND? (i.e. 1 or 2 are all I used at a high flow site)
  2. [(JMM) I REWORDED THIS FROM '[math]\displaystyle{ \varepsilon }[/math] estimate observation period', but I don't know if it is any less confisuing]
  3. Re: number of profiles: IS THIS ONLY DETERMINED BY THE SAMPLE RATE?]
  4. Re bin numbers and sizes: [SHOULD WE QUANTIFY THIS]
  5. Re nomenclature table: [IS IT POSSIBLE TO LINK TO APPROPRIATE TABLE?]
  6. Re beam configuration: [(JMM) CAN WE BE MORE SPECIFIC HERE? ]]
  7. Re AHRS: [(JMM) WHAT IS THIS ACRONYM]
